01Bifold or sliding doors?
Bifolds maximise clear opening when stacked; sliders keep a simpler track with part of the opening often fixed. Room layout decides.
02How much do bifold doors cost?
Price follows the number of leaves, the material and the threshold. Aluminium and timber bifolds are quoted as named systems after the opening is measured.
03How many panels should a bifold have?
Odd or even counts both work. The stack side, a traffic door and furniture clearance decide the layout - we draw it before the price is fixed.
04Are bifold doors draughty?
A correctly specified system with the right threshold and adjustment should not draught in normal use. The quote names the system and the threshold, not only the leaf count.
05Can you quote without visiting?
Yes. Send outside photographs, rough sizes and the number of openings for a first written price. The survey then confirms manufacture sizes, access, thresholds and finishing details before anything is ordered.
