Garage door FAQs
Questions
Common questions before you compare quotes.
Door FAQs.
01Which garage door opening should I choose?
Sectional doors move in sections onto tracks inside the garage. Roller doors roll into a box above the opening. Side-hinged leaves need clear space outside. Check the space for the selected model.
02What colour options are available?
Full RAL range including white, grey, green, blue and black. Sectional doors can use veneered steel panels with wood-effect finishes and embossed textures.
03Do you sell insulated garage doors?
Insulation depends on the selected model. The written quote names the door and its specification.
04Can I open the door during a power cut?
Ask us about operating options for the garage door you choose.
05Do you fit commercial and industrial doors?
Yes - roller and sectional options suit workshops, warehouses and vehicle bays with wider spans quoted after survey.
06Can I get a pedestrian service door?
Sectional ranges can include a human-sized service door so you enter without lifting the full panel - useful for commercial bays and storage garages.
07Do you sell fully glazed garage doors?
Fully glazed doors are not stocked, but sectional panels can take aluminium glazed sections or perspex or glass window inserts per panel for daylight.
08Can you quote without visiting?
Yes. Send outside photographs, rough sizes and the number of openings for a first written price. The survey then confirms manufacture sizes, access, thresholds and finishing details before anything is ordered.
