01Can I get an accurate steel price online?
Only as a broad band after shortlisting the route. Accurate totals need measured elevations, use (internal/external) and specification on survey.
02What affects a steel window price?
The route (cold internal steel, thermally broken external steel, or steel-look aluminium), the grid, the glass and the finish. A single rate per square metre leaves those out.
03Is steel-look aluminium cheaper than real steel?
Often yes on the same opening, but not always once thermal breaks and sightlines are matched. Price both on one drawing.
04What is on a steel price quote?
The named system, whether it is thermally broken, glass, finish, hardware and what fitting includes. Compare that schedule, not a headline total.
05Can you quote without visiting?
Yes. Send outside photographs, rough sizes and the number of openings for a first written price. The survey then confirms manufacture sizes, access, thresholds and finishing details before anything is ordered.
