Installation
What changes the installed price
Installation starts from £599 ex. VAT, £719 incl. VAT, and is confirmed after the photos.
Sound paving or concrete is ready to install on. Gravel, lawn or an uneven base may need preparation.
Four footing pads or a small base are added to the quote when the surface is not load-bearing.
We check whether the parts can come straight from the road or through a narrow route.
A new 230V cable run is quoted separately and needs a qualified electrician.

01Is the W4Y Pergola 350 waterproof?
When the blades are closed, the pergola creates a covered space and channels rainwater through the columns. It is an outdoor structure, not a sealed conservatory.
02Do I need planning permission?
Many freestanding pergolas fall under permitted development, but this one is 2.665 m high. Check with your local planning authority, especially near boundaries, listed buildings or conservation areas.
03Can it be installed on decking?
Only if the deck is load-bearing. We confirm that from your photos before any installation.
04Do you provide foundations or concrete pads?
If the patio is not already a load-bearing surface, four concrete footing pads or a small base can be added to the installation quote.
05Do I need an electrician?
The motor needs a 230V supply. An outdoor socket nearby is enough. A new cable run needs a qualified electrician and is quoted separately.
06How long from order to installation?
Production and installation are usually completed within 6 weeks of the deposit. We confirm dates after the order.
07What is the warranty?
5 years on the aluminium structure, 2 years on the motor, and 1 year workmanship when we install.
08What sizes and colours are available?
Width is fixed at 3.50 m. Projections are 3.40 m, 3.85 m, 4.30 m and 4.75 m. Five finishes are the same price: anthracite grey, jet black, alpine white, grey aluminium and grey black.
09Does the price include delivery?
Free delivery is included within 50 miles of ST5. Beyond that, delivery is quoted from distance and access.
10Can it handle UK snow?
The roof is designed for a snow load up to 30 kg/m². In heavy snow, leave the blades open so snow falls through rather than building up.
11Remote or phone app?
A remote is included. App control depends on the configuration and is confirmed on the quote.
12Can I pay in instalments?
0% finance is available through Phoenix, subject to status. The usual alternative is 50% deposit and 50% before delivery.
